What counts as spam or negative?

Negative

  • Direct insults, slurs, or aggressive tone aimed at the Ad, Post, Live Stream, or Page

  • Attempts to discredit the content (e.g. “fake,” “AI-generated,” “this is staged”)

  • Only content that clearly threatens performance or credibility is hidden — sarcasm, trolling, or minor negativity may get a reply or roast instead, based on your persona

Spam

  • Unrelated brands, hashtags, promotions, or platform mentions

  • Link dumping, redirect bait, masked URLs, or comments pushing external offers

  • Attempts to initiate personal contact between users (e.g. “DM me,” “text me”) — especially when replying to another commenter

  • Even if phrased nicely, these comments are treated as spam if they derail engagement, distract from your CTA, or pose platform risks
