Why does it ask for so many permissions?

Reply200 requests only the permissions it needs to function — nothing more.

Each permission serves a specific purpose to help the AI read, act, and manage comments across your assets safely and effectively.

Why these permissions are needed:

  • Manage your business
Required to access Business Managers (BMs) tied to your profile.

  • Show a list of the Pages you manage
Lets you select which Pages and linked Instagram accounts you want Reply200 to work on.

  • Read content posted on the Page
So Reply200 knows the context of what it’s replying under (e.g. ad, post, live stream).

  • Read user content on your Page
Allows the AI to see and analyze incoming comments.

  • Manage comments on your Page
Required to reply, react, ignore, or hide comments.

  • Manage accounts, settings, and webhooks for a Page
Enables real-time syncing and automated actions across your assets.

  • Access profile and posts from the Instagram account connected to your Page
Needed to understand the content of the Instagram post and reply appropriately.

  • Manage comments for the Instagram account connected to your Page
Lets Reply200 moderate and engage with Instagram comment threads.

You can review and approve each permission during the Reply200 authorization flow (hosted by Facebook) — or use any of the recommended methods to revoke access anytime.
